Senior Teacher, Jerry Hanner

Our Journey

Ways of Life Teaching Center

The Ways of Life Teaching Center is a branch of the Body of Christ, appointed to be a Bible study group. The teachers are called and sent to follow the command to feed the Body of Christ with knowledge and understanding . The study group was established in 1991. A group of 5 people began studying the Bible in the basement of the home Jerry Hanner. The study continued there for approximately 11 years and relocated to 1100 South Highland Park Chattanooga, TN 37404. The Senior Teacher, Jerry Hanner, in obedience to the Holy Spirit, led a few men on a fasting and praying retreat three time a year, for over 14 years. Each retreat brought more knowledge and understanding of God’s word. Each retreat brought revelation, knowledge, direction, and purpose. As God guided Jerry through his dreams, he was led to the current location of 1100 S. Highland Park. The dream came assuring we would feed the entire city the Word of God and subsequently, a door was open for us to have a program on TV. God equipped us to feed more people with knowledge and understanding. We are certain Jesus has called us to be Watchmen for the Souls of His people. The location at Highland Park is a dual purposed facility; Bible teaching and the establishment of a skill labor training center.
